Mable CHEUNG
Director, producer and president of the Hong Kong Film Directors’ Guild. Mabel Cheung’s directorial debut The Illegal Immigrant (1985) won the Best Director at the 5th Hong Kong Film Awards, succeeded by An Autumn’s Tale (1987), winner of the 7th Hong Kong Film Awards Best Film. Feature film City of Glass (1998) was nominated for the 35th Golden Horse Awards Best Director. Produced by Cheung, Echoes of the Rainbow (2010) received the Best Screenplay at the 29th Hong Kong Film Awards.
