Keiko is the Director of Pia Film Festival, known as PFF established in 1977. PFF has started for the sake of independent films in Japan. Since its beginning up to date, PFF has been taking an important role for discovering and cultivating new talents in order to enrich cinema. In addition to introducing new talented films at the festival venue, but also engage with a wide range of activities such as PFF Award (the main competition) and PFF Scholarship (film production).

Keiko has been Festival Director since 1992.
