Work-in-Progress (WIP)  

The WIP initiative is designed for film projects in the later stages of production. Its purpose is to help producers and directors secure post-production funds, connect with distribution agents, and engage with film festival programmers.

Selected projects will be invited to the HAF Work-in-Progress Open Pitch to introduce their new films. Each project will have a total of 10 minutes for its presentation, including 5 minutes for screening film footage and delivering the project pitch. The pitching event will be hosted by our emcee, who will provide a brief introduction. Private meetings with attendees will also be arranged.

Furthermore, HAF will once again partner with the Marché du Film at the Cannes Film Festival to shortlist five projects from the WIP selection for the “HAF Goes to Cannes” program in May 2025. Selected projects will benefit from screening opportunities and media exposure.
