Tomy WAI Kai-leung is a film composer and started his career since 1993. He received his first Best Original Film Score Awards from Hong Kong Film Awards and Golden Horse Awards, working with Lau Yee Tat for the movie Temptation of a Monk. In 2010, he received another Best Original Film Score Award from Hong Kong Film Awards with Teddy Robin for the movie Gallants. He also received nominations in both the Hong Kong Film Awards and Golden Horse Awards for movies Time and Tide and The Bullet Vanishes, and Hong Kong Film Awards nomination for As the Light Goes Out. Till now, he has composed film scores for over 150 movies. Famous producers and directors he had worked with include: Derek Yee, Ann Hui, Tsui Hark, Gordon Chan, Benny Chan, Wilson Yip, Soi Cheang, Dante Lam, etc.
