Novelist, screenwriter, director and TV producer. Lu Feii received his MFA from USC School of Cinematic Arts. He currently teaches at the College of Communication at the National Chengchi University and had formerly chaired the Department of Radio and Television and served as the associate dean of the college. He authored the monograph Taiwan Cinema: Politics, Economics, Aesthetics (in Chinese, 1998) and co-edited Island on the Edge: Taiwan New Cinema And After (2005). In recent years, Lu works closely with TV channels and production companies in Taiwan and China in the fields of story development, writing, consulting and talent training.
