Matthias Delvaux is a nomadic cinematographer from Belgium. His film education consisted of VHS tapes and Film University in Brussels. One day he started a bicycle trip in China, but ended up shooting feature films. He is attracted by projects which allows a certain freedom and creativity, often in desolate natural environments. He enjoys a fluid and organic shooting style, often shooting handheld camera. Movie works include Old Beast, To Live to Sing, The Cloud in her Room, Wuhai, Journey to the West and Snow Leopard.
