Two cash awards will be given to two selected HAF projects, one from Hong Kong and one from outside of Hong Kong. The winners will be selected by the Project Review Committee and are credited for the originality and creativity of their projects.

The Award aims to encourage young Hong Kong directors to create local-themed projects with unique personal style. The winner will be selected by the representatives of Heaven Pictures (HK) Culture and Media Co., Ltd.

This Award is designed to promote cinematic innovation and promising Asian directors. Two in-kind awards will be presented to two selected projects, one HAF project and one WIP project. The winner will be offered post-production services by White Light Studio in Bangkok, Thailand.

The winner will be selected by the representative of Wouter Barendrecht Film Foundation.
Abid Hossain KHAN -《Belonging》(Bangladesh)

Award value: One in-kind award of US$2,700 (approx. HK$21,100)
One of the HAF projects will be invited by the representative of Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival to participate in Network of Asian Fantastic Films 2019. One round-trip ticket and hotel accommodation will be provided to the filmmaker of the selected project.

Award value: One in-kind award of EUR 7,000 (approx. HK$62,000)
The objective of the Award is to encourage and facilitate coproduction between Asia and Europe. One of the HAF projects will be invited by the representative of Udine Far East Film Festival to participate in Focus Asia 2019. A complimentary round trip air ticket and hotel accommodation will be provided to the director, and hotel accommodation will be provided to the producer of the selected project.

Award value: One in-kind award of RMB 300,000 (approx. HK$365,000)
The objective of the Award is to encourage and support young film talents. An in-kind award of RMB 300,000 will be presented to a selected HAF Chinese project. The winner, selected by the representative of China Film Foundation – Wutianming Fund for Young Talents, will be offered post-production services provided by Leading Digital Post Shanghai.

The Award aims to support and encourage high-quality film projects. All HAF Projects are eligible to compete for this Award. The winning project is required to shoot in Mainland China in order to entitle the benefits.
Renai WEI Yongyao -《The Priest in the Village》(China)

Two in-kind awards will be presented to two selected projects, one HAF project and one WIP project, each is worth US$15,000 towards a full sound package valued at US$25,000. The sound package includes all sound services for a film not exceeding 120 minutes: foley, sound design, dialogue editing, atmosphere, and a 6-day final mix. A Dolby license if needed is not included.
