Animation in Focus

An animation initiative has been established to support and promote animated feature film projects, as well as nurture promising animation works and talent. Selected projects include animated films in the development stage (IDP) and works in progress (WIP).

The IDP section focuses on animated features in the early stages of development, providing support to producers and directors by connecting them with production companies, investors, and other industry professionals.

The WIP section is tailored for animated films in the later stages of production, assisting teams in securing post-production funding, meeting distribution agents, and networking with film festival programmers. Selected WIP animated film projects will be invited to the HAF Work-in-Progress Open Pitch to showcase their films to industry professionals.
