HKIFF Collection Updates: Me and the Cult Leader shortlisted for IDA Documentary Awards
Breaking News! WIP 2018 project Me and the Cult Leader by director Sakahara Atsushi (@meandthecultleader) is shortlisted for the IDA Awards. The IDA Documentary Awards is the world’s most coveted prize for documentary films. The winner will be announced mid-January.
The film is currently playing in USA as part of San Diego Asian Film Festival (@pacartsmovement) and in the Czech Republic with Jihlava IDFF @Mezinárodní festival dokumentárních filmů Ji.hlava. It will also screen at RIDM for those in Quebec and IDFA for those in the Netherlands later this fall.
