HAF Film Lab 

In order to support emerging Hong Kong and Chinese-language filmmakers in the region, Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF) arranges a training programme Film Lab which provides lectures on subjects such as scriptwriting, cinematography, art direction and financing. Selected teams can also enjoy one-on-one consultation sessions with industry experts. 

The submission deadline of The 8th HAF Film Lab will be on 22 June 2025.

Winners of the Script Services Award will be granted with an automatic entry to HAF in March next year. When the project is finished, The Hong Kong International Film Festival Society can also provide assistance in festival strategy planning and international sales.

The 8th HAF Film Lab will take place from 25 to 29 August 2025. Around ten Chinese-language projects will be selected.
